It's a special time for Swingtopia as we get to relive our dream, the 20's, all over again!
Bring on the bands! Bring on the swing! Bring on the vintage fashion! Bring on the energetic dancing! Bring on the Charleston! Bring on the decadence and the flare!
I'd like to formally welcome the team this year, in no particular order, Matt, Evelyn, Ellen, Michael, and Sophie. Thank you to your loved ones for letting you out to play at Swingtopia! And thank you to you for your continued dedication, support and friendship!
We have some changes to class times which you can find below. If you're a beginner, start with our Beginner Lindy Hop classes on Monday and Thursday.
Monday
Starts January 6th 2020
6:30pm Lindy Hop Beginner
7:30pm Lindy Hop Intermediate
Thursday
Starts January 9th 2020
7:00pm Lindy Hop Intermediate
8:00pm Lindy Hop Beginner
Balboa
Once or twice a month Swingtopia will run a Balboa Practicum. The practicum is designed for all levels including absolute beginners. People will be guided in what they need or want as they practice, and the end of the practicum will have plenty of social dancing. For more specific times on when the next practicum is run and how the practicum will be structured, see the Facebook events at Swingtopia Dance.
